How to reach : Lingana is a massive pinnacle on the mainline of the Sahyadris between Raigad and Torna. It takes its name from its shape which is like a linga. Trekkers going from Rajgad or Torna to Raigad come through the valley called Boratyachi Naal, which lies between the mountain of Lingana and the mountain of Raylingi. We come from Pune to Velha – Bhatti – Kelad khind – Mohari(Approx 80 KM)
Another route is From Mahad to the village of Paane, which is at the base of the fort. From here, we can reach the village on the upper plateau, which is called Lingana machi. From here a walk of 1 hr on slippery way leads to the base of the pinnacle.

Tech Details : Lingana is 2969 feet high with an ascent of four miles, the first half is easy to climb while the second is difficult. It has a rock cut steps have been destroyed and the fort is almost completely inaccessible (Height: 1200 Feet from base, Difficulty Level: Moderate), 47 bolts are placed by SCI at pinnacle and 13 bolts at traverse from “Boratyachi Naal”
