Project Model

SCI selects a climbing route as a project which was previously bolted. We only do rebolting and do not make any new climbing routes.

We invite various organizations working in the field of trekking and mountaineering to sponsor the project.

These organizations bear all the expenses related to transport, accommodation, food, and media coverage. As participation is more important than mere sponsorship, sponsors need to work together with SCI at project site. With project completion, sponsors acquire the credit and right for media publicity.

SCI shoulders responsibility for the expenses of technical gear and bolts required in the project.

Working on-site helps to spread awareness regarding climbing safety.

SCI does not conduct any kind of climbing activities or expedition during, after or in between rebolting projects.

Climbing is strictly done for rebolting of routes.
